Welcome to the conference site for investigators, developers and users of innovative image processing systems!

Two years after the very successful image processing conference Forum Bildverarbeitung 2010, VDI/VDE-Gesellschaft Mess- und Automatisierungstechnik organizes together with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Fraunhofer IOSB another conference on image processing, which will take place in the historic centre of Regensburg on 29. and 30. November 2012.

Regensburg was in the late Middle Ages a political centre of the Holy Roman Empire and a booming trading centre. The old town of Regensburg is considered as an extraordinary example of an intact medieval city and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
